A late middle-age female service-user with long-term anxiety and other health problems

Making this Life Journey map was a profoundly moving experience for this female late middle-age service-user with long-term anxiety and other health problems. Though encouraged to take a break from the proceedings, they waved away the offer and wanted to get to the end, to get to depict their present and how much their family meant to them. Talking to the group afterwards this woman was able to reflect on the huge challenges she had faced – and largely overcome – in recent years at a stage in her life that she thought would offer her stability.
