A female service-user in late middle-age severed by a bereavement

This Life Journey was made by a female service-user in late middle-age who used the exercise to document the twists and turns in her life, and to document how previous years of contentment had been cruelly severed by a bereavement. Herself dressed in a fabulous and arresting personal style, she experimented with figurative renditions to show the importance of people in her life. Crucially, she also worked closely with other group members to tell their stories and make their maps – this peer support knits the group closer together.
