Moving Parents and Children Together Programme – M-PACT


Our highly acclaimed Moving Parents and Children Together Programme (M-PACT) is a whole family, structured support programme which aims to improve the well-being of children and families affected by substance misuse. The program provides a weekly space to share, to learn, to be heard and affirmed but also to be challenged.

The programme structure is made up of 10 sessions. 8 core sessions one day a week followed by an individual family meeting in week 10, to review the programme and to make future plans, there is a reunion for all families 12 weeks after the review session. Transportation is provided for the families if needed.

Criteria for MPACT: *The children and young people are generally between the ages of 8-17; *Family members affected by substance misuse can also participate, such as nan, aunty, uncle, grandad; *Families affected by substance misuse.
