Basildon and Thurrock Friend is an Internet and telephone call-back service for the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual communities of Basildon and Thurrock.

Formed on 1st January 2002 by volunteers who are themselves Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual, and some of whom are trained counsellors.

We provide information, support and guidance for the entire Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual community and all who are concerned with gay issues. This includes non-Gay persons who are in any way involved with those of a Gay sexual orientation.

We deal with whole-body health, sexual health, emotional matters and relationship issues. You are welcome to cry on our shoulders too! We offer support primarily by email and call-back telephone in complete anonymity, but will also correspond confidentially by letter.
